In 18th-century France, copper plates were stacked in clay pots filled with distilled wine. The resulting chemical reaction created the rich green patina known as vert-de-gris, which was used as a pigment in paintings. Over time, the green deepened in intensity — the color is recreated here in this buttery-soft goat suede vest. In fact, this vest is so rapturous, you’ll want to sip a buttery Chardonnay or white Burgundy as you caress its intoxicating suppleness. Details du jour: distressed enamel metal buttons, welt pockets and flap pocket with button closure on chest. Classic Fit. Fully lined in striped cotton. Half-back belt with grommets and metal buckle. Locker loop at inside back neck. Have professionally leather cleaned. Imported.
