Size too big for 42R
Too bad the jacket fit so poorly. I suggest you provide sizes like 40R, 42R etc. rather than large which would fit someone more like 44 or 46R. I found a different sport jacket that I liked but then learned I must pay full price without the usual discount. True, shipping is free but to encourage exchanges with new sales, I suggest you provide the same discount as the original purchase.
Not great fit on slim guy
I was suspicious about fit when I saw catalog model that seemed to show top fit of shoulders on coat to slope down...they do ...not great or fitted tailored look...not surprising when size choices are small medium large....too bad...coat seems to flair out from top down...wondering whether to return
This jacket has a lot going for it, but I am still deciding whether to keep it. Pros: it is very lightweight and stylish and has a snazzy liner and many great pockets. Cons: it runs large, like many of TA's shirts. I am 5-9, 140lbs, and the "small" is a bit large in the midsection and too long in the arms. Second, the material is unique for a blazer, with the peached nylon/cotton mix, but it unfortunately looks very wrinkled and frumpy out of the box. I will hang it overnight and see. It is machine washable and allows a cool iron, so wrinkle issues may be overcome, although the travel/packability factor is decreased. The color is true navy, meaning rather dark, which to me makes it a bit formal for Levi's. An intriguing blazer.
