On the fence about this one
I am a long time fan and customer of TA and find almost without exception that their products are unique, earthy and well-made. They are not cheap but more often than not I feel they are a good value; the quality exceeding the price. I think this is my sixth TA jacket, my fourth in leather and I'm just not sure I love it. The style is great but the goat suede material feels so thin I'm afraid it won't hold up. My other TA leather jackets are all ten years old and still going strong. I've had this jacket a month, have worn it about six times and still have my doubts. Don't know if it's too late to return. Wish they'd made this with a more durable material that reflects the rugged ""Blue Canyon Leather Cruiser name.
First--This was an unbeatable value at the sale price plus another 50% off during a weekend sale TA had in August. I love the jacket. It looks smart, is well designed and well-made. The look is both casual but it also could substitute for a sport jacket, so it dresses up and down. As for weight, it's heavier than a suede shirt-jac, but not as heavy as most leather jackets TA sells. I sprayed it down with waterproofing for suede and am good to. Glad I have it.
