Very disappointed in these pants. Lightweight for the price. Fit snugly, order a size up. No matter how diligent I am taking out of the dryer promptly they are unbelievably wrinkled. I recommend buying these only if ironing clothes is your hobby.
Park City, UT
First off the look and feel of these pants set them apart. The toffee and shitake colors are interesting and the pants do feel especially soft to the touch, unlike any other I have owned. I had no problem with the fit. I'm an average 5'11' guy, probably packing 5-8 more pounds than my idea weight, but found the 36-34 fit to be just fine, the same as all the other pants I order. Yes, they wrinkle a bit, but no worse than my jeans. Get them out of the dryer before they tumble dry, fold in half, and snap out the wrinkles with a few slaps against your legs. Then hand rub out any remaining wrinkles. That gets out most of the wrinkles, and I can live with what's left. The wrinkle factor is really not that bad, in my opinion. The price may put a wrinkle in your budget, though. Overall, the Langtrys are a welcome shift up from jeans and my Carhart cargos.
Very Good Pants
These pants are good. I have 5 pair, and have worn out a few before that. You do need to iron them or use a steamer. They're lightweight, very good 3 season pants. If the weather drops below 40 and there's any wind you'll feel it. They fit very well in the hips, but older pairs were a bit snug in the thigh depending on the lot. They've undergone a slight redesign and I don't notice the thigh snugness as much. They soften with age, and they dress up very well. They're about the only pants I wear. Only 4 stars because I do notice they wear thin in the crotch. I walk a lot, and perhaps it's my gait, but after a year or so they just wear right through. All in all, more comfortable than most chinos and dressier and lighter than jeans.
