Great Pants

These pants are great! The color in the photo is fairly accurate, but I would say it's closer to a deep chocolate brown than ""slate"". The contrast stitching and side leg pocket are great details. The material arrives stiff but is not uncomfortable. Great buy.

Too Much Constrast in Contrasting Stitching

Upon opening the package first thing I noticed was the contrasting stitching was REALLY stood out. More like orange than the muted yellow tone shown on the website. It was too much for me. Disappointed, because they appeared otherwise sturdy and well made, I repacked the box and returned to TA.

Unique Jeans

Nice color and unique details. More casual jean look. Good mix of black, brown and gold colors.

Cool Alternative Pants

I bought these late 2011 and have worn them several times since. A classier alternative to jeans; but, are very versatile. They fit very well and have 2 very nice features - the key fob comes in handy once in a while - and I always use the on-seam leg pocket. I like them enough to try the cumin color this season. Definitely worth your look.

I Like'em

Legs are very straight and wide. Slate color is indeed a dark brown in most lights and the stitching which looks white to me in the I-net pic is actually yellow/tan. Cumin color has more yellow in it than shows in the I'net pic. Waist is fine - at least in 36 - but I like pants to be a bit long so ordered 34 and will have them shortened. Didn't think the key holder would be useful but now that I've tried it I like it but you'll have to be careful that the keys banging on the leg don't wear a hole. Leg pocket will be handy for a cell phone if you carry one - I don't - and also for a cash stash if you venture into any unsavory areas. As for a Passport seems small to me but I don't have one to check. One other thing is they have 7 belt loops which you don't see much anymore. Definitely a keeper but a question - why are they call 5 Pocket Twills when they actually have 6?

I bought 2 pair

I got my first pair in the Slate color a couple of years ago. I enjoyed them so much that I wanted them in a different color. I wasn't too sure about the Cumin color. I wondered if they would be 'too Loud'. I got them (Cumin) at the sale price late this past winter - and I am glad I did. The color is kinda nice-'n-different from my usual very conservative dress approach. Actually, they are cool for my 56 years of age. The young folks like them. They fit as well as the Slate color. They wash well, and are made of sturdy cloth that is well-stitched. I recommend as a great alternative to blue jeans and khakis.

Great Pants

Ordered 34x30 in both colors. A chocolate and a cumin color. At this price it's a steal! Wish they were offered in 33" waist as they'd fit perfectly--as is, it's a generous 34" waist. Smart looking, tho. I like all the tweaks so they will serve well. Not a heavy guaged fabric but not thin either. Plenty good for Spring, Summer, Fall wear. me: 5'7", 170 lbs, between 33-34 waist, 29" inseam.
