A Favorite

This is one of my favorite summer shirts. I have the rust and it really does evoke a sunset feel. The material is cotton, but the texture is almost like linen.

Not True Blue

The on-line picture makes the base color of this shirt appear to be a very very pale blue, but the actual base color of the shirt I received is closer to a pale gray with a hint of blue. The chest striping is accurately depicted in the shirt's on-line picture. A peculiarity of this shirt is that the upper portion of the shirt (above the striping) looks like canvas whereas the lower portion of the shirt (below the striping) is similar to pinpoint oxford. Because, in my view, the blue version of this shirt is not a ""true"" blue, I will be returning it to TA.

Bought in brown.

I decided to get this one in Medium catiously after getting the rather oversized ATE logo shirt in MT and the smallish Patch in in short in Medium. I was pleasantly surprised and even after washing there was no shrinking.

Great cotton shirt

Great cotton shirt. Material could be a tad lighter for summer but is still very comfortable, and comes out of the dryer ready to wear.

Great Shirt at a Reasonable Price.

I'm 6'5"" and have been looking for shirts that fit and have some style. I finally found them! I purchased three shirts and found them to be high-quality and look great. I bought three more!

Great Casual Shirt

""California twilight goes on forever…"" begins the description, but this shirt's color blends into a relaxed North Woods twilight that lasts until oh, about 9:00 DST. The fabric is soft and the fit is comfortable, not overly oversized. This shirt is great during the day, too, because it's not unduly wrinkled right out of the dryer.

Another winner from TA

I have both colors in this shirt. I love the fit and the fabric. It does winkle a bit not not noticeable. Another great shirt from TA.

Want to Love It, Can't

If you have any nostalgic memories of old shirts, I can't imagine not loving the colors of this one. The gradient color bars (beautifully woven and not screen printed!) are retro funk beauty. And not until I saw my rust colored shirt in person did I realize the color above the stripes is actually different from the color below the stripes. How cool is that? Unfortunately, you can't count on the stripes to run straight all the way across. You can even see this in one of the photos: where the stripes intersect the button placket, they are off anywhere from an eighth to a quarter of an inch. It's embarrassingly obvious when you button the shirt up. Considering the many, many other shirts TA has where patterns (printed or woven) are precisely lined up when they intersect the button placket, pockets and such, that this super-simple alignment is botched is annoying. ...Especially when you go through TWO shirts, trying to get one that isn't messed up. I wrote on my first return form ""please get me a shirt where the stripes go straight across the shirt,"" and the second one I got was even more severe in its misalignment. Too bad-- the fabric is thick and soft and the gradient stripes are lovely, but whoever is assembling them is literally (and metaphorically) missing the mark. Also worth noting is this shirt runs huge. In my experience, the medium is the equivalent of an XL compared to some of my other shirts. If you're looking for a relaxed fit, and plan on wearing the shirt unbuttoned, so the stripe issue isn't as noticeable, you're set.
