Excellent Quality and Classic Styling
Hipster or Preppy -- This style works. It's a good weight for all but the Summer here. The cut is generous but not sloppy.
Can't please everyone
Ordered the short sleeve pique polo....consider me mostly satisfied.....really liked the fabric, cut, and the color seemed quite close to the color on the website. The weight is good, too; sturdy, but not heavy. I think its a well-made shirt. On the downside, the size (L) was a bit baggier than expected. I have at least three other shirts from this company, all Large, and this one is cut much more generously. Also, the length was a bit more extreme; when I wear it untucked there's just too much hanging off the back and front of my body (I'm 5'10" and 190 pounds). I'll keep it, but, honestly, not entirely satisfied. I've read that some customers found the shirt cut too small.....just goes to show you can't please everyone.

Finally the hunt is over!
My husband has been wearing pique polo's to work for years. It is typically hot most of the year in Tucson, so he prefers the breathable pique fabric. He had been wearing the Eddie Bauer polo's, but over the years Eddie Bauer has made the clothing much smaller with cheaper fabric. My husband refuses to wear EB polo's now. I have been on a scavenger hunt throughout Tucson bringing home every pique polo in the tall size I could find - to no avail. I also tried the LL Bean pique polo's and they were also cut small. The Territory Ahead pique polo is cut like the old Eddie Bauer cut - with a longer sleeve on the outside (11 inches) and a longer length on the underarm (7 1/2 inches). If the underarm is cut too small, my husband is constantly tugging and stretching the sleeve to keep it from bunching up under his armpit. Most of the tall polo's I have found have about a 5 inch underarm length on the sleeve. The T.A. pique fabric is the perfect weight and the shirts are long enou
A little small for TA
Love TA - Ordered the Polo - Great fabric weight, good color (Raspberry) but it wasn't as generous or as long as other 'regular' fit TA shirts & T's. Consequently just a little on the small size.

poor color choices
My husband loves these shirts for the hefty fabric and the way they fit. However, we're always stymied by the color choices. Purple, amber, chili and thistle aren't colors that are very masculine and/or flattering for most people. Where are navy blue, grey, dark green? Wish we had better color choices!!!
cost reduced ultimate at same price
The Old Ultimate Polo was the best thing going. So many alternatives out there for mid and light weight shirts that the heft of the previous U.P. was a perfect solution. It was a well made heavy duty shirt that you could not find ANYWHERE! Happy that I grabbed a couple but did not realize they would be replaced so soon by a lesser and obviously cheaper weave. But kudos to TA for adding in some great colors with this newer yet less substantial polo.
Best polo ever!
Ever since the quality of Eddie Bauer's polo shirts went down the tubes because of cutting corners and poor fitting, I've been wandering the desert looking for my go-to polo shirt. Well this re-engineered Territory Ahead shirt is finally it. Their older shirts were good but had a weird seam across the back shoulders that I was always aware of and a little uncomfortable. The tails were just a little short and didn't look good on me (I'm 5'11"). Well these shirts are truly new and improved, and they're the best on the market now. No more funky seam across the back, and the tail is slightly longer (just as they said it was). They are the perfect weight -- a little beefy so they feel substantial, but not as heavy as the older ones. My only complaint is they only come in six colors (and purple? come on now.) But they definitely hit this shirt out of the park, and the changes they've made have truly made it great. Now if they come up with a hunter green and navy blue, life will be
