Bringing Back the Hat?

How did headware for men ever die out? I remember an era when the hat was part of every man's wardrobe. How it vanished is beyond me. People clearly notice when you wear one. I've been looking for one that fit my criteria. It had to stylish, and this one certainly fits the bill for warm weather wear. It had to be crushable for easy packing. I checked that out as soon as I unpacked it. It back back in perfect shape everytime. Of course it had to be reasonably priced. This fedora clicked on all three counts. I'm 5'8"", 140 lbs, so I assumed the small/medium was the size for me. It was a little tight as first, but it has loosened up in the several weeks I've worn it. You need to take that into account if you plan on purchasing. My wife thought it would be a ""flash in the pan"" purchase. She has warmed up to it. What's that they say? ""Every Girls Crazy about a Sharp-dressed Man""? Try the look, it won't disappoint.

El Perfecto Travel Fedora

This could truly be the best Fedora ever for Travel!! And believe me I have probably a few too many Fedoras so I know of what I speak. I never really take my Panamas anywhere where they might get crushed so I generally opt for one of my Stetson or Dorfman Twill Fedoras. I do love them, however they do not roll up well to say the least. A kink tends to form on the crown and takes away all the coolness that could be expressed. This Fedora from TA is more properly called a ""Slouch Fedora"", weighs in at 6.5 oz in comparison to my Panama at 2.5 oz. The poly threads are in 3 different weaves and shades of tan which gives the hat a GREAT appearance. Eminently comfortable with an extremely soft CoolMax inner headband, this hat feels like a great old friend the moment I put it on. Easily shaped into a variety of looks, hindered only by the 2 creases on the top crown, which serves to provide the Fedora shape. A winner at a great price, definitely informal due to it's ""Slouchability"", but a hat with true personality. If the hat fits, wear it, this one works for me...
