Great cut
I love the cut of these shorts- they're very flattering and the waist-which does not have a band- is very comfortable. The fabric is soft, but somehow seems like it could be better quality for the price. As others have noted, these shorts wrinkle easily-I find they look beeter if dried on a hanger (near my airconditioning vent!) than in the drier.

Excellent Shorts!
I bought 2 pairs of these on sale. Really glad I did! When I tried them on, they were so comfortable and soft, I thought they might have a stretch fiber woven into them- but they DON'T. At least the label says 100% Cotton, even though they're more flexible, super comfortable and have better fit than any hiking shorts I own. Don't be concerned about what some reviewers are saying about wrinkles. These are NOT linen and they don't remotely wrinkle the way linen does. I can't imagine needing to iron these. Love 'em!
Very Stretchy!
Buy a size smaller in the olive color in these, since not only do they run big, they stretch out A LOT almost at once. There's only 2% spandex in the olive ones, but it really ""spands."" Washing in hot water did not seem to shrink them, which would normally be desirable.... The material is very lightweight and cool. Another caveat, all the colors do not have the same fabric. Some do not have the spandex, so know what you're buying!
