Karen's Linen Shirt
This year's Karen's Linen Shirt is more fitted than last year's. Wish I'd realized that before buying two as I appreciate a bit more room in the chest. Although I don't normally buy a 1X, not available this year by the way, it would have been a better, looser fit across the chest and back.
Karen's Linen Shirt
I love the slightly longer and more fitted look this year, it has a slimming effect. I bought a large in Grapefruit and Medium in Chalk and Dusty Blue. The colors are rich and very attractive. I am 5'7"/152 lbs/full 38C with more hour glass figure and the large is a bit too big but fine if layering over something. I will keep it. The medium is great, maybe just a bit snug at bust. I wear medium open over camisole. I can button it up too and still be comfortable. I think the chalk and dusty blue colors are true to what you see online, but the grapefruit is more of an orange tone to me than a rose or red as pictured. But it is beautiful color just different from what I expected. Wish they still had it in medium!
Love this shirt
I love this shirt. It's a heavier fabric but stronger in my view. I love the colors and wish there were more, a teal green or a navy like last year's. It does wrinkle in the wearing but what linen doesn't? It also wrinkles in the wash. I hang it to dry, simply run the flat of my palm over it a few times to smooth the wrinkles a little, and it comes out almost as good as if I'd ironed it. Ironing improved it but five minutes after wearing it, it looked the same so why bother? I like the fit but could do without the long piece that you button to keep the sleeve rolled up, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. I never use it and it's unnecessary anyway although not a problem in wearing unbuttoned. I like it so much I have 8 in all colors offered! The chalk is really a slightly creamy off-white not a light beige as it looks online.
I love this shirt...so much that I bought it in 3 colors: dusty blue, chaulk, and watermelon. I also bought the shorts shown in the pic and wear them together. I'm 5'4"/128lbs. & wear a 34D bra. The small fits perfectly. I've had a lot of compliments.
