Not tunic length as pictured, nor long sleeved
The fabric was nice and as pictured, but the cut of this shirt is nothing like the photo. This shirt is just a few inches past waist length - even on the short side and the sleeves are three-quarter at best. The picture shows long sleeve and tunic length
Not as Expected
The true spun gold tee is shown as being mid-length, it is not. It will not give the two-layer look as depicted in the photo advertising the two layer top and knit skirt. I was highly disappointed.
After reading the previous reviews, I was reluctant to order this ""tee"" (it's actually more of a light sweater), but now that I purchased, wore, and washed it, I am so delighted that I ended up ordering a second one. I'm honestly not sure why the other reviewers had issues with both hem and sleeve length, as I found the shirt to be reaching both my hips and wrists, despite my figure being on the Rubens side of the spectrum. And although the tee is very lightweight, it isn't sheer, thus does not require a cami; also its golden threats shine gorgeously. The only reason I substracted one star is the fact that it tends to snag, and is a tiny bit itchy due to the metallic threads. Nonetheless, a great buy!
the picture is misleading
I got this top today, and it was a bit of a surprise. First of all, it is NOT a tunic as pictured. It would only be ""midhip"" length on someone who is under 5'2"". I am 5'8"" and it fits me like a long-sleeved tee, long enough but not tunic length. However, I like it. It fits nicely, and has an overall shimmery effect that will be nice for the upcoming holidays. It makes for a pretty casual holiday top, with jeans or dressed up a bit. It's very fine gauge knit, but you don't have to wear anything under it. The overall color is grey, but subtly sparkly.
