I can't believe anyone would spend the original price on this tote. It is canvas with leather strips for the detail. It's a good looking bag. I gave it 4 stars for value because of the $40 price tag, not the original cost. The bag is huge, more like a travel tote. There is only one zipper pocket inside. The lining is not sturdy. It's not appropriate for a purse, but if you have a need for a lighter weight bag to carry something large, it would work well. Pay attention to the dimensions..
