Wrap a measuring tape around your head. Not too tight.
Give your measurements to one of our customer service specialists or use the chart above to determine your best fit.

How to get a really good fit:
First and foremost, if you have any questions about size, call customer service at 888-436-1031. We have actual garment measurements for every item and we’ll be happy to help you find the perfect size.

Measure yourself with a tape measure using the instructions below. (Or have a friend do it. Serve sangria, as a bribe.) Jot down your measurements and compare them with the body measurement sizing charts found below
and on each product page.

HAT: Measure circumference of your head where a hat would naturally rest (normally above the brow).
WAIST: Measure around your natural waist or, if you prefer, a little lower, where you may actually wear your pants.
NECK: Measure the circumference of your neck. (Add a little for your Adam's apple.)
SEAT/HIP: Standing, with feet together, measure around the fullest part of the hips. Don't cheat.
CHEST/BUST: Measure around fullest part, but with tape under your arms.
You'll need a friend to do this for you. (More sangria.)
INSEAM: Use a well-fitting similarly styled pair of pants. Lay them flat, with seam on seam.
Measure from crotch to bottom of hem.
ARM/SLEEVE LENGTH: Your arm must be slightly bent to do this correctly. Then, measure from center back of your neck, over the shoulder, down the arm, past the elbow (slightly bent) all the way to wrist. (Your friend may be needed for this too.)
"FOR MEN AND WOMEN": What does that mean? They're men's sizes, in fact.
On women, these items will be attractively oversized; sleeve length will be long.
TALL: All of the measurements are the same as the Regular Size, but we’ve added 1” to the sleeve length and 2” to the body length.

 "Pink City" Ikat Shirt

Amateur painter Winston Churchill loved Marrakesh, Morocco’s “Pink City,” and spent many hours contemplating it with brush in hand—even during World War II, if you can believe it, following a meeting with FDR in Casablanca. Why not? Marrakesh’s intensely rosy sunsets are the stuff of legend—and an inspiration for this 100% cotton shirt. It’s a limited-production number, made of hand-loomed fabric that contains no fewer than eleven colors. The distinctive blurred effect is woven in, not printed, and comes from the traditional ikat yarn-dyeing technique—and the result is a true gem of color and craftsmanship. Coconut buttons. Classic fit. Square hem. 100% Cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

PINK CITY IKAT SHIRT

It's a shirt that people notice and looks great in photos! I'll be wearing it a lot this summer.

Woven-in Ikat (not Printed) a Welcome Improvement

Pattern was a definite standout, especially “authentic” since woven into the fabric, not a cheap-out print. Overall color impression more mauve-brown, not “pink” (marketers take note). Fabric was less substantial than expected (can’t know that from a catalog page); would have preferred more weight (add linen?)—especially at this price point. After laundering, requires much attention with ironing … but worth the trouble.
