Don’t call it a basic: this is a high-quality polo that works all over the world and gets every detail right. It’s spun and knit in Peru, a country renowned for its cotton, and is made of a heavyweight pique that demonstrates why a previous generation of tennis stars loved this sporty fabric. As for those design details: we’ve added an elegant Ottoman rib at the collar and cuff edges. The collar has been shaped just so, while the placket features a dash of herringbone twill and three rows of aficionado-pleasing Trapunto stitching. Other polos will feel distinctly lacking after wearing this one. Garment-dyed, with colors that have been ‘beach-washed’ to give them a summery hue. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.
