Breckenridge Fireside Sweater

Whether you’re dressing for a brisk mountain morning or changing out of ski gear at day’s end, sipping hot coffee on your porch or claiming a spot at the whisky bar, this handsome pullover is a welcome choice. Marled cotton yarns provide the heathery character of a classic wool sweater, but without some of the weight or any of the itchiness. Large wooden buttons and a mock neck that makes for a nicely a layered effect when worn over a collar. 100% Cotton. Classic fit. Machine wash. Imported.

My warmest sweater for a Chicago or Colorado winter. Maintains its shape in a true form.

Very nice sweater. Heavy knit and well made. Was what I expected and delivered promptly. Very satisfied with this sweater.

Seems to be decent quality, fairly heavy

HAS ENOUGH WEIGHT TO IT to add some warmth, whereas a lot of cotton sweaters are thinner and are more merely cosmetic. The weight and warmth, though, reduce the versatility because this type of sweater does not have adjustable venting -- i easily run into being hot in this type of sweater indoors, which is the best place to wear it otherwise because it is, after all, cotton. Best application visually is with a tie but between collared shirt, tie, and heavyish sweater it's really easy to overheat in a situation where you can't practically take the sweater off. So it has a bit of a niche use.

Look is OK otherwise. I don't know anything about durability yet but you'd of course want it to be perfectly washable and lots of sweaters are not -- hopefully the heavier cotton will add durability.

Lovely, heavyweight cotton sweater with 4-button placket. Spouse very pleased with fit and color. Not suitable for South FL--and areas with similar climates--but good for anywhere else.
