Nepalese craftswomen individually hand dye and hand-knit each hat using thick, heat-holding wool. Poly fleece lining for “no itch” warmth. One size fits most; approx. 21” circumference. Hand wash or dry clean. Handknit in Nepal.

I bought one of these a few years ago and like it so much I picked up a couple others in different colors. They are “one size fits all” so start out feeling a bit small but gradually stretch to a custom fit. Comfortable, warm and good lookin’ plus made by a good company.

I thought this hat would be nice when I spied it in the catalog and I grabbed it after the holiday rush. Wool + fleece = really warm and I hoped it wouldn’t be too warm. I was pleased to see that the fleece is really a band about 5 inches tall and the dome of the hat is only the wool which is knit loosely enough that the hat vents. Very nice. Thought it would be nice, it is nice. Glad I bought it.
