Riverman Corduroy Plaid Shirt
Why do elevator jokes never go out of style? Because, as every Dad humorist knows, they work on so many levels. Well, the same has been said of the casual blue button-down, a shirt so perennially all-purpose that you likely own a few already. And yet, here’s one that fits that bill and also has a personality all its own. The Riverman is made of yarn-dyed corduroy, using a dobby weave of tiny geometric repeats that lends the fabric a more unique and textured hand. The handsome plaid will punch up a pair of jeans or chinos, and its rich navy base adds an extra dose of polish when worn with, say, a sport coat. Classic fit. 100% Cotton. Faux wood buttons. Imported. Machine wash.

Love the shirt
A very sturdy corduroy, slightly heavier than the steamboat shirts. Also, slightly trimmer (I still fit the same size L) and a slightly shorter tail. If you wear shirts untucked, this one looks really nice. The pattern is distinct, too, and the shirt has a nice soft feel after just a couple of washings. I’d buy more of there were other colors.
