Traditional Scottish fisherman’s sweaters employed lively colors and patterns so that the wearer could be identified from shore. Made of sturdy cotton herringbone twill, this overshirt can easily be worn over a Henley long-sleeve t-shirt and serves as a lighter alternative to our Bordoy Blanket Plaid. Note the subtle but cool blue blanket stitching. Classic fit. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

End Of Season Fine-ish

What a run! I've purchased as many items this end of season as ever; because of product availability and size options I relied heavily on the previous reviews (some not so favorable). One such review mentioned that the overshirt ran slightly larger, that's the info I needed to take a chance on this 'sale final no return ' piece. Early April cool brisk mornings are a great time to wear this wonderfully textured/colored shirt. Thanks for the ride TA-

Very Nice Looking, Colors are Excellent

Many compliments when wearing the shirt.
A little heavy until washed, then material lightens up. Washed on hand wash cycle or gentle and air dry on hangar.
Runs Large, should have ordered a small instead of medium.

Haven't worn my twill overshirt yet only because the temperature hasn't dropped enough but can't wait to hear all the compliments. The color and quality is amazing.

Loose strings, take 3

Tried leaving two prior 3 star reviews, will try a phony 5 star review in case the number of stars is a gatekeeper function.
Shirt arrived, washed on gentle, hung to dryMANY loose strings appeared all over the shirt. I’ll provide just one example.
