I bought this thinking it was going to be a home run, but at best it was a hit-by-pitch.
I bought an XL because I'm sort of a wide body. The raglan sleeves are fine at the shoulder. The sleeves have a tab and velcro at the wrist. I was pretty sure the sleeves would be a little long, but figured that the velcro on the sleeves would allow me to tighten the tab around my wrists . Unfortunately, the velcro's only function is to hold the tab in place when the sleeve is open – it is misplaced. In other words, if your arms are a little short for the size you need for your body, you can't use the tab to pull the sleeves closed, so they hang down. Not a pretty look!
I had also expected some degree of water resistance based on the fabric, but getting soaked twice cured me of that expectation. Note - the description doesn't say anything about water resistance, so this is on me.
On the plus side, I like the zipper on the one side at the bottom – it does help with the on-off. The anorak IS wind-resistant – tested on a recent trip to the Balkans.
