Each Hawaiian Island has an official color that corresponds to the shade of a locally prevailing bloom. The Big Island’s is red, in recognition of the visually striking ohi’a lehua— and here’s a shirt that channels some of that flower’s fiery panache. Hand-blocked in Indonesia, the batik cotton fabric combines artisanal geometrics and florals in cooling blues, pinks, and purples. The shirt has enough flair to be dressed up, even as the etched floral coconut buttons and camp collar add laid-back charm. Classic fit. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.
