Any spymaster and fighter pilot can tell you about the virtues of flying under the radar. That’s what this old school military chino does, which can make it hard to detect exactly why it’s such an excellent go-to trouser. Fancy accents certainly have nothing to do with it—they’ve been stripped out, yet other subtle details remain. The thin double belt loops, watch pocket at the waist, back flap pockets, and rigid waist (a vintage detail) are no more and no less than you need, and the 8.9-ounce cotton (hint of spandex for stretch) twill is perfectly weighted. Expect the color to age just the way you want it to, with our proprietary wash enabling the underlying khaki tones to emerge over time and causing the pants to look better as the mission count increases.
